Background Info
Horticulture has always been a passion,being brought up with it all around me it wasn't long before I took on my first paid commission, tidying a neighbours garden at the age of 12. I honed my skills down under in Queensland helping to reestablish Gum plantations to improve Koala habitat.
On returning to the UK I took up employment with the internationally renown Chelsea Flower show guru, Julian Dowle. Under the masterful eye of Julian I was lucky enough to help create gold medal winning gardens at Chelsea, N.E.C and Hampton Court Palace flower shows, as well as some impressive projects around the UK and Europe .During this time I gained a wealth of knowledge in plants and garden design, working alongside world leading designers David Stephens, Jacqui Gordon, Koji Ninomiya and Diarmuid Gavin.
I have a special interest in the many neglected suburban gardens that usually consist of a few slabs and a patch of worn out grass. The potential of these gardens to human well being and wildlife is immense and often unrealised. In 1996 I started Pond & Garden with the aim to provide a sensibly priced garden service for both private and commercial sectors. With many satisfied customers over the years we strive to provide a complete and friendly garden service at an affordable price without sacrificing quality.
